This section will explain how to determine the version of the web browser you use.

Internet Explorer

1. From the Help menu in Internet Explorer, select About Internet Explorer.
2. In the dialog that displays you will see a Version: tag. The version number will be to the right of the tag. E.g. 6.0.2800.1106

Mozilla Firefox

1. From the Help menu in Mozilla Firefox, select About Mozilla Firefox.
2. In the dialog that displays you will see a version tag underneath the Firefox name. The version number is the number tha follows. E.g. 1.5

Netscape Communicator

1. From the Help menu in the web browser part of Netscape Communicator, select About Communicator....
2. In the new browser window that displays, you will see the the heading Netscape Communicator with the version number on the right. E.g. 4.8

Netscape Navigator

1. From the Help menu in the web browser part of Netscape Communicator, select About Netscape.
2. In the new browser window that displays, you will see the the heading Netscape with the version number on the right. E.g. 7.02
